Meet Our Founder

Jeremy Johnson

Founder, CEO

For the past 16 years I have worked tirelessly in the insurance realm to help make insurance less complicated for customers. Prior to dealing in insurance I didn’t know anything about it and how overwhelming it could be, especially given there are so many types of insurance for many different needs. During this time I became a husband to the most incredible wife, a father of an amazing and intelligent son who is now a teenager, a beautiful charismatic daughter who has an extraordinary heart that is entering into her teenage years, and talented younger son who one day may make it into the MLB. I am a servant, a husband, a father, a son, and a friend, and I have made it my purpose in life to help many seniors feel that they can rely on me as they would their own son or grandson.</div>

How much does Final Expense insurance cost?2022-08-24T13:54:04+00:00

These types of plans can vary in cost due to several different factors. These would include: your location, age, gender, tobacco use, diagnosed conditions, medications etc. There are however some plans that dont ask health questions, and because of that they have stipulations that require you to have a waiting period for coverage. This is why it is best to speak to a live professional so they can help you step through the process of finding out what is available to you.

Why are some Final Expense plans so much cheaper than others?2022-08-24T13:52:56+00:00

The reason for this more times than not, is that the structure of the plans are different in comparison. For example, if you are looking at a plan that is significantly lower in price than everywhere else, then there is a high probability it is a term policy. What this means in the senior market, is that the policy will expire at a certain age and potentially increase on your premiums every 5 yrs. When you have a guaranteed problem such as passing away when the time comes which everyone will at some point, you need a guarantee that you will not outlive the policy and that the premiums are guaranteed to stay the same price for the life of the policy.

Why cant I just wait until later to get Final Expense Coverage?2022-08-24T13:46:14+00:00

What many people don’t realize is that there is such a thing with life insurance as “to late”. Many people are one diagnosis away from not being eligible for coverage, and if that happens then you will only qualify for plans that have restrictions on them that don’t cover you day one. Additionally, the longer you wait the more expensive it either will be or could be. Age is most certainly something that is taken into consideration when applying for coverage as well as health.

What is the difference between a Medicare Supplement plan and a Medicare Advantage plan?2022-08-24T13:43:57+00:00
A Medicare Supplement plan is designed to work alongside Original Medicare by helping to pay what Medicare doesn’t for Medicare Part’s A and Part B. There are various types of Medicare Supplement plans which are named “Plan A-N”, and some of them cover more than others. Note: no matter what insurance carrier sells you a Medicare Supplement plan, the plan benefits work the same. (A plan G is a plan G is a plan G)
A Medicare Advantage plan is a coordinated care plan operated through private insurance. If you elect to use a Medicare Advantage plan, Medicare will pay the private insurance company to coordinate your and assume liability of your healthcare. These types of plans are required to offer benefits at least as good as Medicare, however many of their plans offer more. Some of the benefits that these plans may offer that are above what Medicare offers, items sure as dental, vision, hearing, over-the-counter items, and much more. Additionally, given these plans would now coordinate your care, they would in many cases have copays in place that you would pay for services. Not all plans are available in all areas, in fact typically plans are designated by county in terms of which plans you have access to participate in.

Client Success Stories

Several years ago, Mrs. Thompson, a warm-hearted senior, entrusted us for guidance on securing a burial insurance plan. She wanted to ensure that her family wouldn’t bear the financial burden during an already difficult time. We locked arms with her to help find the perfect plan, keeping her preferences and budget at the forefront of our mind. After we had made our way through a thoughtful discussion, we assisted her in selecting the insurance policy that was right for her as a legacy of love for her children and grandchildren. A couple of years had gone by and to our dismay, we received a phone call from her daughter informing us of Mrs. Thompsons passing. Although we were heartbroken to receive the call, we immediately went into service mode to ensure this process would be as painless as possible. We assisted her in notifying the insurance carrier of the loss and contacting the local funeral home to notify them what was necessary to have them start the process without delay. Once we assisted Mrs. Thompson’s daughter in this process, she was ever so grateful and expressed how much of a burden we lifted off her during this trying time in her life.

Mr. Rodriguez, a retiree with a zest for life, approached us seeking guidance on navigating the complex world of Medicare. His primary concerns were managing his medication costs, accessing preferred doctors, and maintaining good oral health. We took the time to listen to his needs attentively which included reviewing his prescription costs, taking note of his doctors that were important to him, and the desired benefits he needed to keep up his dental hygiene. We were now on a mission to help Mr. Rodriguez discover a Medicare health plan that was right for him and his needs. After careful review we found a plan that covered all his medications on the formulary and lowered their cost, ensured all of his doctors that were important to him accepted the plan, and accomplished covering the dental needs he had to reduce is financial responsibility to a minimum for services. Not only was Mr. Rodriguez grateful during the process, to our delight we received a call out of the blue 2 months later from him thanking us so much for the money he had saved and finally being able to get the dental work he needed to have done.
